Journal “Chemistry, Physics and Technology of Surface” recognizes the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in scholarly communication and establishes clear guidelines for their responsible and transparent use.
The journal follows the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding the use of AI in scientific publishing.
General Principles
Artificial intelligence tools, including large language models and generative AI systems, may be used by authors only as supportive tools during manuscript preparation.
AI tools must not be used to generate or manipulate research data, statistical results, or scientific interpretations.
AI tools cannot replace human responsibility for the content, interpretation, and integrity of scholarly work.
Authors remain fully responsible for all content submitted to the journal.
