Methane and Nonpolar Hydrocarbons Joint Adsorption by Mesoporous Silica in the Presence of Water
Abstract
Adsorption of methane with co-adsorption of water, benzene and dichloromethane onto silica Si‑40 undergoing hydrothermal treatment using low-temperature 1Н NMR spectroscopy method (200–280 K) under isobaric conditions was investigated. Unusual dependence adsorption vs temperature explained by Van der Waals complexes forming was found.References
