Effect of Oxide Fillers on Thermal Destruction of Unsaturated Polyester Resin
Abstract
Effect of fillers on the thermal destruction of unsaturated polyester resin and its compositions with nanoparticles of titania and silica within the temperature interval of 25-800°C has been investigated by the temperature programmed desorption technique with mass-spectrometric registration of destruction products and IR-spectroscopy. Composition of destruction products, decomposition stages, and filling effect with nanoparticles on the resin destruction were determined. The filling effect on the composition and the amount of destruction products as well as the thermal decomposition mechanism were analyzed.References
