Acid-base and tautomeric equilibria of fluorescein in mixed micelles of zwitterionic sulfobetaine surfactant with cationic, anionic and nonionic surfactants
Keywords:
fluorescein, micelles, absorption spectra of dye, ionization constantsAbstract
Values of “apparent” ionization constants of fluorescein were determined in mixed zwitterionic surfactant micelles – cetyldimethylammoniopropanesulfonate – with cationic, anionic and nonionic surfactants by spectrophotometric method. The tautomerism of both molecular and ionic forms has been found from the absorption spectra of dyes.References
